Matt Patton, a director of operations for SoDel Concepts praised the ongoing efforts of the MOW Lewes/Rehoboth Board and its President John Wolfe. “John has dedicated so much time to Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth, and the organization is full of professionals and volunteers who give hours to help homebound seniors in our area,” said Patton, who overseas Fish On in Lewes, where meals for the organization are prepared. “The need is profound in coastal Sussex. We are happy to support his efforts.”

Organized in 1970, Meals on Wheels of Lewes-Rehoboth in its first year delivered 16,609 meals. By the end of the 1970s, more than 20,000 meals per year were being distributed. Today, there are more than 200 clients. Drivers and partners deliver two meals to each on 13 routes in Sussex County.
